In parallel and throughout the year in review, INSB Class continued to maintain a strong focus on sustainable quality performance in key Port State Control regions worldwide. This dedication to consistency and performance was pivotal in reinforcing INSB Class’s reputation as a reliable partner for maritime safety and compliance.
YEAR 2022 | TOTAL FLEET EVOLUTION
As of the end of the year elapsed, the INSB Class overall fleet totalled 4851 vessels, that included a balanced and well-diversified combined register of various ship types flagged under foreign flag jurisdictions (481 ships) and smaller vessels under the Greek national registration (4370 units). In comparison to the year 2021 consolidated fleet (4668 vessels), the overall register grew by +3.9%.
YEAR 2022 | NEW FLEET ADDITIONS
662 vessels newly entered during the course of the year in review, to the INSB Class register. Out of these, vessels flying the flags of international registers accounted for 113 ships while 549 were registered under the Greek flag.
YEAR 2022 | SURVEY ACTIVITY
3943 assignments performed
On a global scale, and during the year 2022, INSB Class surveyors completed a number of 3943 classification and statutory survey assignments, with 589 surveys performed to vessels flagged with various foreign flag registries and 3354 inspections and safety checks related to vessels and units flying the Greek Flag, in accordance with the national safety regulations. When compared to relevant survey activity figures of year 2021, INSB Class survey activities grew by +14.3%.
